Long Description: Betty’s Angels Board of Directors and volunteers will host its annual golf outing fundraiser to support the Children’s Shelter in Howland on July 12 at Mahoning Valley Country Club, 710 E. Liberty St., Girard. Check-in is 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. until finished. Cost is $75 per person or $300 for a team of four for 18 holes. Those who don't golf are invited to eat and enjoy the atmosphere for $15. Prices include cart, breakfast, lunch and dinner. A 50-50 raffle and prizes will be offered. Betty’s Angels seeks to protect the youngest victims of homelessness, sexual abuse, drug addiction, and neglect by giving them a loving home with well-adjusted adults to help them grow and flourish. Advocacy, education, support services and emergency shelter are provided to prevent further victimization.
