Long Description: Help a Horse Day is all about giving horses a better life. All horses deserve a happily ever after and Brite and Lilli will make are making it official! Bright Futures Farm joins the ASPCA in celebrating Help a Horse Day by inviting you to an afternoon at the farm. Meet our horses, and help us spruce up the farm after a long hard winter. After enjoyable and easy work, enjoy a variety of covered dishes and desserts and join us in celebrating another Happily Ever After event... the wedding of Brite and Lilli! Brite and Lilli both started life in the world of racing. Brite was raced into the ground and foundered in both front feet. If Bev had not adopted him from the rescue he was at, he'd have been euthanized because they couldn't afford to care for him. Brite Decision is the inspiration for Bright Futures Farm. Lilli raced unsuccessfully at Beulah Park and at the tender age of three, after she again lost a race, she was sent directly to Sugarcreek Livestock auction. She was purchased by Equine Advocates in a bidding war with a kill buyer and was brought to Bright Futures Farm. Lilli went onto a successful career as a show hunter and when her adopter passed away, she came back to Bright Futures. Since her re-arrival, she and Brite have been inseparable.
