Long Description: The Edinburg United Church, located at 4081 Rock Spring Road, Edinburg (corner of Rock Spring Road and Tallmadge Road) will hold a Community Market & Cornhole Tournament to benefit the Edinburg United Church Personal Hygiene Pantry. The event is open to the public and will host vendors, crafters and sellers from various venues as part of our Market. Vendors can contact Wendy Withey at (330) 850-5172 to sign up for a site. Spots are $20.00 each if you bring your own table, $25.00 each if you need a table supplied. Spots must be paid for in advance to secure your site. Cornhole Tournament is open to the public. $20.00 to sign up a team of two. Tournament will be played on a timed basis (25 minutes to play, highest score wins the round), with double elimination. Payout to 1st and 2nd place. Those interested in playing in the Cornhole Tournament can contact Dan or Heather Mix at (330) 654-5148. Teams signing up must pay in advance. Deadline for Cornhole is June 23. We will also be hosting "Stuff-A-Truck" where members of the community can bring items such as shampoo, conditioner, bars of soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, mouthwash, deodorant, baby wipes, Lysol, toilet bowl cleaner, laundry detergent, toilet paper, tissues, denture cleaner, body wash, or trash bags. Concessions will also be available during the day. All activities will be held outside. The Edinburg United Church Personal Hygiene Pantry holds monthly giveaways on the last Saturday of each month to members living in the Southeast Local School District in Portage County, Ohio who are in need of some assistance. Money raised from this fundraiser will directly benefit the pantry AND help members of our community by allowing us to buy items for the pantry that are not donated!
