Long Description: This year’s program is entitled a “Celebration of Mazurkas” will feature the work of Polish-born composer, Fryderyk Chopin. Chopin was inspired to focus on seriously composing his own unique mazurkas in 1830, the year of the November Uprising, a Polish rebellion against the Russian government. The classic tea will be compliment Poland's most distinctive music with one of its finest desserts—the mazurek, baked only in the spring. A traditional high tea with homemade cookies and treats will follow.
