Long Description: October 15th is National Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Gianna’s Light is pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Candlelight Memorial to remember our babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy or neonatal death, inspired by my daughter, Gianna Lynne, born still on April 15, 2009. Please come celebrate the miracle of our babies with music and community on Saturday, October 15th from 6:30-9:30pm on the Green in Canfield. All are welcome, whether you have experienced a loss or want to support those of us who have. We will be lighting candles from 7-8pm joining in the worldwide Wave of Light happening in all time zones, all around the world, to bring awareness to this tragedy and to bring families together. Too many families feel incredibly isolated, suffering this horrible loss in silence. Help us bring the gift of light! We will also be reading the names of our sweet babies aloud, and lighting luminarias in their memory. Families wishing to participate may contact me at sherri@giannaslight.org or simply show up the day of the event. This is an unimaginable tragedy, something you never believe will happen to you. When it does happen, to know that you are not alone is a tremendous help. My sweet Gianna came into this world still, and silent. But she has much to say, much to accomplish.
