Long Description: Jim Donovan has brought the gift of rhythm around the world. He is now bringing this gift locally when he holds “Ecstatic Drum and Chat Transformation Workshop” at The Yoga Room. Donovan, former member of the platinum selling band, Rusted Root, which shared stages with Santana, and OTHERS. Currently Donovan is on faculty, doing graduate studies and is involved in research involving with using percussion interventions for special needs children at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. He conducts drum and chant workshops, as well as weekend retreats such as the Great Rhythm Revival. Pre-registration is encouraged by calling The Yoga Room at 330-637-7171. There is an advance registration discount. The advance registration cost is $45. Cost for the two and half hour workshop is $55 day of the event. During this group workshop, you will learn to use different tools such as hand drumming, vocal toning, visualization and energetic breathing to create the life you desire and support you in your work.
