Long Description: 1st Annual Chili Cool-Off for Buckeye Horse Park The public is invited to attend the Buckeye Horse Park's first Chili Cook Off on Saturday March 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Colonial Inn at the Canfield Fairgrounds. Tickets are $6.00 each which includes 1 vote, taste testing of each participants chili, crackers and 1 beverage. There will be hot dogs available for children. Want to be a contestant? Think you make the best chili? Prove it! You may enter the meat or vegetarian category. Contenders must provide 5 gallons of their best chili recipe. There is no fee to be a contender. Awards will be given for first, second and third place in both categories. Extra vote tickets may be purchased for $1.00 each. There will be a Chinese and silent auction.
