Long Description: THIS YEAR WE WILL FEATURE 2 NATIONAL HEADLINING COMEDIANS ! JOE STARR & CHRIS MONTY ! JOE STARR IS DIRECTOR, OLIVER STONE’S FAVORITE COMEDIAN . He headlines casinos, nightclubs and theaters across North America, he brings with him over 20 years of experience. Starr has toured with the greats like Jay Leno, Father Guido Sarducci, Soupy Sales and Robert Klein To name a few. Chris Monty is one New York’s busier comedians. Along with being a regular at New York’s best comedy clubs including Gotham Comedy Club, Stand-Up NY, & Governors, Chris is also a terrific actor that has been seen in numerous films & television commercials. He has writen for "The Joan Rivers Radio Show" and was host of his own program on NY’s WGBB. Along with numerous stints as an opener for big name acts including John Pinette, & Johnny Maestro & The Brooklyn Bridge, Chris performs regular dates in Las Vegas & Atlantic City. Primary Health Network Charitable Foundation is making preparations for the 13th annual "Laughing Matters" comedy night. Last year's event was such a great success--thanks to our wonderful contributors, sponsors and show-goers! Your generous contribution to this event helps support PHNCF programs for the medically underserved. With your help, we can fund a transportation program providing free rides to and from medical appointments for the neediest in our community. We also are able to continue our annual scholarships for local students entering into the healthcare professions. Our event will begin at 7:00 pm with reserved dinner reservations with a meet & greet the comedians. 8:00 - 9:00 - Pre Show party. 9-11 Bring on the Comedians. There will be chinese, silent and Live auctions along with a 50/50 raffle and more.
