Long Description: Championship Wrestling Experience is proud to present Progression Through Aggression, on Friday, September 25th, 2009 from The Wedge Nightclub. The Wedge is located at 1743 S Raccoon Road in Austintown, Ohio. The doors to the event open at 6:30pm and the event begins promptly at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance for $10 at all Havana House locations. Tickets will be sold at the door the day of the show for $12. The following matches have already been signed: GREGORY IRON SEEKS OUT PATRICK HAYES FOR ANOTHER CWE UNDISPUTED TITLE MATCH! Gregory Iron has been without question one of the most improved superstars in the year 2009. Iron has been successful in every singles attempt he has made, with the exception of his first title match with Patrick Hayes. Since then, Greg has made it past Louis Lyndon, Kushida Yujiro, Jack Verville and John Kermon in an attempt to once again get to a title match. Hayes’ pattern has been somewhat different. While he has remained champion since last defeating Iron, some may say he has done so in less than strong fashion. Hayes needed the assistance of Ryan Mitchell to defeat Michael Façade at Culmination III, and again needed not just Mitchell’s help, but also the help of Krystal Frost and Scottie Gash to defeat Johnny Gargano at last months Chain Reaction. Word in the locker room is that there has been tension within the group, mostly from Hayes, due to his cohorts actually almost costing him the belt. With all that is going on within, will Hayes be able to focus on Iron in this contest? SEXUAL HARASSMENT MAKES THEIR FIRST DEFENSE OF THE CWE TAG TEAM TITLES AGAINST THE LA GUNZ! Never before in the history of the CWE has a team been able to win any title in their first appearance. Benjamin C Steele hit the mother load on August 29th when he brought in Sexual Harassment who defeated the Franchise Players to win the CWE Tag Team titles. While the Players are upset at this, they have indeed vowed to gain revenge on Harassment at some point. Harassment and Ben Steele have no time to rest, as the LA Gunz are beating down the door, waiting for their shot at the gold. The Gunz have been on a roll, having defeated and disbanded the Straight Jacket Mafia. After defeating both Moondog Scrap and Morty Rackem and then Bromance in consecutive months, CWE officials had no choice but to award them the shot at the titles. This is undoubtedly the biggest chance the Gunz have had in the CWE, and it is make or break time in this ultra competitive tag team division! MICHAEL FAÇADE SETS HIS MARK FOR REVENGE ON RYAN MITCHELL! Michael Façade was so close to the gold, but it all came crashing down when someone he thought was his friend in Ryan Mitchell came down to ringside and cracked Façade with the belt, allowing Patrick Hayes to pick up the victory. Façade wanted immediate revenge on Mitchell, but it was announced that Mitchell was not going to be at The Wedge in August. Façade determined to get revenge on one of Mitchell’s cohorts, Scottie Gash, and when victory looked to be his, Mitchell unexpectedly came from the back and attacked Façade viciously. After he was able to come to, Façade challenged Mitchell to a match later in the evening, but Mitchell was quick to deny him. This didn’t sit well with Nick from CWE, who came to the ring and announced that Mitchell would indeed wrestle Façade later in the evening. When that match did take place, again, when Façade had the upperhand, Gash and Patrick Hayes came and attacked Façade from behind, cuffing him in the corner and laying a vicious beating until Johnny Gargano and Gregory Iron made the save. It was at this time that the announcement was made that Mitchell and Façade would go one on one on September 25th, with Hayes and Gash being barred from ringside. This has major title implications, but it should also be remembered that Façade still has yet to cash in his title shot. JIMMY DEMARCO FACES A HUGE TEST IN CWE AS HE STEPS TOE TO TOE WITH RAYMOND ROWE! In a somewhat incoherent rant, Jimmy DeMarco sarcastically thanked the fans and CWE management for his shot within the company. This type of behavior didn’t sit well with management, as well as other wrestlers. One of those wrestlers was Raymond Rowe. Rowe, who has been on a hot streak since he defeated Necro Butcher at Culmination III, contacted CWE management and demanded the shot to shut the mouth of the brash Jimmy DeMarco. If there is one person on the CWE roster who could shut the mouth of DeMarco, it would certainly be Raymond Rowe. Will that be the route the match goes, or will DeMarco establish himself as one of the top guns in the CWE? JOHNNY GARGANO AND SHIIMA XION TEAM UP TO TAKE ON LOUIS LYNDON AND FLIP KENDRICK! There is no question in anyones mind that the tag team scene in the CWE is certainly heating up. This match is yet another piece of evidence to support that though. Johnny Gargano and Shiima Xion, known in tag team ranks as Double Barrel Terror, have accomplished everything there is to accomplish in the CWE singles ranks. Now they have determined to take their singles dominance and stretch it over into the realm of tag team wrestling. They came up short in an effort to win the CWE Tag Team Titles several months back, but a renewed focus brings the team to this match. Louis Lyndon and Flip Kendrick have been making waves all across the Midwest and East Coast, and while having wrestled on the same side in the CWE before, this marks their debut as a full on tag team. They will certainly have to pull out all the stops if they hope to make it a successful one. Without question, the team who pulls out the victory here will likely be in line for the next CWE Tag Team Title shot! ALSO FEATURING: RYAN BURKE, KEVIN BRADWAY, SCOTTIE GASH, HOBO JOE, AND MORE OF YOUR FAVORITE CWE STARS!
