Long Description: The 19th Century Acoustic Society provides traditional music and stories focusing primarily on the era of the American Civil War. The group performs many old-time favorites by breathing new life into the songs of yesteryear. The members of the 19th Century Acoustic Society are re-enactors who perform in period dress from the era of the Civil War. The group's mission is to entertain and educate listeners with a modern interpretation of Civil War era music.
