Long Description: This ancient tradition of decorating eggs is practiced throughout Central and Eastern Europe, but the motifs and colors change between regions. In the West, images of nature and pastel colors prevail. In the East, geometric patterns and earth tone colors are dominant. Mary Soldo of Struthers will teach this introductory workshop for ages 12 and up. Participants will create their own beautiful eggs. Most of the materials will be covered by the workshop fee. Registration and fee due at Ford Nature Center by Feb. 23. Held at Fellows Riverside Gardens.
