Long Description: O’Donold’s Irish Pub & Grill at 6000 Mahoning Avenue in Austintown is teaming up with family, loved ones and friends of Matthew Ritz on August 29, 2009 from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm to gather support for the medical needs of his family. Matthew was diagnosed with Stage IV GlioBlastoma Multiforme in May 2009. He has undergone two surgeries to date; one to remove most of the tumor, and another to remove part of his skull to alleviate swelling of his brain. He will need to have at least two more surgeries, extensive outpatient rehabilitation, as well as chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Originally from Warren, Matthew is a proud father of 3 sons, a strong husband, a loving son and brother, a devoted grandson, and a loyal friend. We are asking for your kindness, as the family prepares for mounting medical and household bills. Please join us to help make a difference in the lives of Matthew and his family.
