Long Description: Imagine if you can, trees up to 20 feet in diameter covering 95% of the state, streams with crystal clear waters packed with fish, and flocks of passenger pigeons that darken the skies. The Ohio countryside has changed dramatically over 200 years. Tonight's speaker Bob Glotzhober, Curator of Natural History at the Ohio Historical Society in Columbus, will discuss the changes in Ohio's woods, rivers, wetlands, prairies, and wildlife.
