Long Description: The Boardman Spartan Marching Band will perform in the Boardman High School Gymnasium, sharing a retrospective of the 2013 marching season. The Spartan Sweethearts and Silks will perform with the band. Following the concert, guests are invited to "Cupcake Wars BSMB Style," where cupcakes baked and decorated by band students will be displayed. Participating students were asked to create, decorate, and present cupcakes that best capture the spirit of this year’s Spartan Marching Band closing routine "Magic." A panel of judges will evaluate the entries on taste; concert guests will vote on best presentation. Winners will be announced during the concert, and then guests will be invited to eat the cupcakes. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. Senior Citizens are admitted free of charge to all Boardman Band events. For information, go to www.boardmanband.org.
