Long Description: The Youngstown Area Community Theatre Alliance proudly presents the "1st Annual Legends of the Theatre Honors." Patterned very closely after the Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C., the Legends of the Theatre honors three(3) individuals from the local theatre scene who have contributed greatly to the local theatre scene. Please join us at the Youngstown Playhouse on Saturday, February 9, 2008 for a joyous celebration of the lives of these three individuals who have contributed so significantly to area theatre. Without them, we would not be where we are. The evening will begin with a Cocktail Reception in honor of our guests and their families. It will then continue in the main theatre of the Playhouse with verbal tributes, musical salutes, a video presentation covering each of their lives, and the presentations of their awards.
