Long Description: To raise awareness about the extinction crisis of some of our tailless amphibian friends, 2008 has been declared Year of the Frog. We'll participate by exploring one of the "hoppiest" places in the MetroParks. If weather conditions are right, we will hear male frogs serenading. Flashlights and boots are recommended. Meet at Vickers Nature Preserve in Ellsworth Township. Easy rating, 1 mile.
