History

The "Tullsen Brothers" was formed in 2010 as a musical outlet for singer/songwriter Justin Charles Hite. Since that time the concept as well as the band has grown into something that is all our own. We come from a variety of musical backgrounds, from punk and hardcore to classical. Each member brings something to the mix and it has helped us forge a sound that is at once timeless and unique. Our goal is to create a take on Appalachian music that embraces its roots and merge that with a modern sound, taking from alt-country, bluegrass, gospel, and rockabilly.
