Jonathon Michael Tepper aka "Throwback" was born May 30, 1989 in Youngstown, Ohio. He grew up with a great passion for all forms of music and fell in love with Hip-Hop at a young age. In 2003, by the time Jon entered high school, he knew that rapping was more than just a dream. He wanted to pursue his destiny fulltime and started writing rhymes about his passions. The one thing for sure was that he knew how to work a crowd and had an unbelievable stage presence for it. After paying his dues by performing at numerous shows and nightclubs from the ground up in the Midwest, Jon's fan base began to grow bigger and bigger. Jon knew that in order to make it in the music industry, he had to really step up his game. With that being said, he decided to go big and record his first successful strip club, booty shakin’ anthem, "Get This Dough" with WIZ KHALIFA. He pushed the single throughout the net and worked his MySpace/Facebook promotions to their fullest extent. The formula worked. The track quickly caught the attention of many DJ's and executives nationwide. The song has been rapidly spreading through clubs and radio stations throughout the Midwest as well as steadily gaining nationwide BDS.

Jon Tepper classifies himself as a boss rapper. He knows what he wants and will stop at nothing to get it. He is known for living a luxurious or "royal life," which has respectively earned him title of The Jewish King. At 18, he was offered his first major deal, but declined it. Instead, he chose to cash in on the Indie market and signed with NYC’s top Urban Independent powerhouse, AFFLUENT RECORDS, to distribute his album "BALLIN’ SINCE BIRTH." The album will be executive produced by A&R superstar, Oscar Sanchez with production from Acclaim, Affluent, BeatCatererz, Hi-Fly, KaneBeatz, Ozone of Toxiq Entertainment, The Shah Bros, Skiggyska Beats, and the Bronx's own, Young Deniro. The album is due out for online digital release this Spring & in stores everywhere this Summer on Affluent Records.
