History

After the events of Sept. 11, 2001, south side drummer Jere B. decided that life was too short and left his day job as a local radio talk show producer to pursue his musical passions. Joined by brother-in-law and bassist Phil the Beat and local keyboardist Cliff Barnes, SounDoctrine was born. In addition to the group's current members, various musicians and local talent have played with the group over the years including saxophonist Michael Austin, bassist Chris Rhodes, keyboardist Trendle Thomas and trumpeter H Wade Johnson.
