History

With over 150 tunes and 100 years combined experience, The Guilty Pleasures are made up of 4 lead singers that fronted their own successful bands (8 Balls, Sacksville R&B, Illuminatus, Swagger Kings) in the rugged Rust Belt cities of Youngstown, Cleveland, Pittsburgh and beyond. Individually, they have opened for Bob Dylan, Roger McGuinn, The Violent Femmes, The Goo Goo Dolls, The Rembrandts, Donnie Iris, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, The Producers, The Waitresses and Wayne Kramer and many more!

And although this is an acoustic based performance, deep inside each of these individuals beats the same Rock & Roll heart...Their mission is to find & present those rare gems...great songs that you may have forgotten...or wish some band would play live...or perhaps enlighten the audience to a new favorite they haven’t heard yet...they may also slip one of their own original tunes along side the hits, without you even knowing it.

But ultimately, they are here to entertain the audience and themselves: with their wisecracking ways and endless “theme” nights (John Lennon Night/Bee Gees Night/Johnny Cash/Alice Cooper etc.) [Taken from http://www.reverbnation.com/theguiltypleasures]
