History
With influences ranging from the hook laden anthems of the '80s to the driving angst-filled '90s, Dimstarshining has emerged with crisp, clear and straight-forward hooks that every music lover craves. Through their energetic display of the music they create, the band has reached out to many fans in need of music they can relate to.
Over the past few years, Dimstarshining has shared the stage with acts such as: Sponge, The Early November, The Juliana Theory, The Rocket Summer, Travis Meeks (Days of the New), Slaves on Dope, Honestly, Lourdes & Lennon Murphy (Lennon).
Most recently, Dimstarshining has released their 10-track opus "The Day After She Left". With this collection, the band has put together a collage of strength, growth and individualism with just a touch of heartaching optimism. Vocalist Mike Gaitanis, Guitarists Kevin Povec & Noll Hartman, along with bassist Angelo Scordo and San-Diego bred drummer Jeff Shood intend to continue their journey by reaching out to fans everywhere both with their live shows and on-line. After all, Dimstarshining is just what music lovers need...and have been waiting for.
