Description

Current Status: Pursuing music career in Nashville

Sound description: BJ O'Malley once said, "I play pop country, but not like the stuff out now, but the way pop country was 30 to 40 years ago." Her music is a throwback to days when the country folk dressed up and headed down to town to hear those voices who sang on the radio. She has the style and spunk of June Carter Cash, a voice more gentle than Tammy Wynette and writes lyrics that sound like she's been drinking with Hank Williams Sr. BJ O'Malley has a sweet voice that sings ugly songs.
