Description

Current Status: The Bedspins! have recently put together an “acoustic unplugged” set which includes crowd favorites from their regular “band” set as well as some new “acoustic only” material. These arrangements can be incorporated into their regular set to give their show an added dimension, or serve as a stand-alone performance ideal for coffee shop, radio station, street corner & in-store appearances.

Sound description: Sorta like an ‘alt-pop-punk-country-folk-rock’ act.

History

The Bedspins! are a two-piece indie act based out of Youngstown, Ohio. Formed in the spring of 2004 when two co-workers decided to get together to “jam” following a chance encounter over a ‘Television’ song.( -the band, not the household appliance)
With no apparent common ground in sight (other than the afore-mentioned Television song, which they could not play), they immediately began working on songs that Don (guitar, vocals) had written. It didn’t take long for P.J. (drums, vocals) to give these songs the heartbeat they needed. The characters, and their respective act, developed as the result of their entertainment value focus and obsession with visual and musical detail.
