North Jackson
Nate Morrison found the end zone twice and totaled 241 rushing yards on 28 attempts as the Jackson-Milton High football team defeated Lowellville 23-14 in an Inter Tri-County League Tier Two game on Friday.
John Gherardi ran 12 times for 46 yards and also scored a touchdown for the Bluejays (2-4, 0-3).
Randy Pavlicko caught two passes from Geno Moore for 75 yards for Lowellville (1-5, 1-2 ITCL Tier Two).
Pavlicko scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter.
Eric Inskeep also got the Rockets on the board. He ran for 120 yards, including a 5-yard TD run.
United 38, East Palestine 35
East Palestine
Garrett Beech carried 11 times for 154 yards and three touchdowns to lead United (2-5, 2-2 ITCL Tier One), which took a 38-21 lead with seven minutes left.
Beech also had a 36-yard interception return for a touchdown and Tyler Dunn carried six times for 32 yards and the other TD.
For EP (1-6, 0-4), Luke Cope completed 13 of 28 passes for 185 yards and two TDs and also ran for a 1-yard TD with 15 seconds left.
Jake Dicello returned two kickoffs back for touchdowns. Dicello also caught three passes for 101 yards and a TD.
Mineral Ridge 42, Lisbon 20
Lisbon
Mineral Ridge (4-3, 3-1 ITCL Tier One) totaled 338 rushing yards, with Casey Porter and Devine Redding going for 159 and 124 yards, respectively.
Quarterback Jonathon Baker was a perfect 3-for-3 through the air and amassed 74 yards.
His No. 1 receiver was Nathan Palmer who caught two passes for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Lisbon (1-6, 1-5 ITCL Tier One) was led by Zac Barnes, who ran 14 times for 45 yards and Brad Cox who caught two passes for 65 yards.
