Today, we stopped at The Vindicator carrying the burger entries for today's match between Pour House Bar & Grill and The Phoenix Fire Grill & Bar. Three members of the staff, Dave Laird, Tammy Miller, and Kendra Corpier, agreed to be our burger judges.

The Pour House, who was in the 2017 final 4, entered their Oh Gee Perogie; an 8 oz. short rib brisket blend, 2 pan fried perogies with caramelized onions, BBQ ham, cheddar and ranch on a Hawaiian roll.

Newcomer to the tournament, The Phoenix brought their Chipotle Ranch Bacon Burger; an 8 oz. ground beef patty, Southwest seasoned and grilled over an open flame and topped with American cheese, crisp apple-wood smoked bacon, crispy Cajun fried onion straws and striped with a house made chipotle ranch.

The judges loved both burgers and in a difficult 2 to 1 decision, The Phoenix rises to the next round!
