I'm freaking out. I just learned from https://www.facebook.com/lklesch?fref=ts" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Lori Wagner Klesch that https://www.facebook.com/PeggyGurney?fref=ts" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Peggy Gurney died.
Peggy Gurney, or, Peggy b, as I call her, was a listener and participant of  the show .
Peggy was always a positive critic. She'd tell me when she thought I was wrong, and why. Always,ALWAYS making  guest suggestions.ALWAYS trying to help others...ALWAYS trying to help the community.
A couple of years ago, Peggy b. asked if I would have her in to talk about autism. Peggy's son,Ed Jr. is autistic. Well, of course! She came in/on, asking all to put a blue light on forhttps://www.autismspeaks.org/what-autism/world-autism-awareness-day" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"> Autism Awareness Day . Peggy came in wearing blue nail polish, also for Autism Awareness. I jokingly said 'if i had blue nail polish.....' ,well,Peggy had some in her purse, so, I said 'sure I'll  go blue for you/for Ed Jr, for Autism Awareness...and  let her paint 2 of my nails blue. That developed into putting blue streaks in my hair..and, last year, doing all my head hair blue - all of it, of what's left ! All  I needed to know was that Peggy, and , more importantly, her son,Ed, loved the idea of an ageing flower child going blue for Autism Awareness. I've got to tell you, I  was surprised at  how many strangers and not-so-strangers, asked about the blue hair. It worked ! Those of you who've asked me to colour my hair for other awareness months, owe it all to Peggy Gurney. I still don't know what happened so quickly to her.
I love learning about how, when we see the stars, we're actually seeing light that left those stars a long,LONG time ago - -  how some of the light we see know are from stars who 'died' many years ago.  I still don't know what turned the bright, shining light, the loving bright blue light, that was Peggy b, just what turned that light out...but, what I do know is that Peggy is, sorry, Peggy was, a one-of-a-kinder who's light, like the stars above, shine long after death, the stars  that light our way....
