Another Valentine's day passes...flowers, chocolates and cards:
Average annual Valentine's Day spending: $13,290,000,000(that's 13 BILLION $s+)
Cards: 180,000,000
Roses produced/grown for Valentine's Day: 198,000,000

So, how much LOVE from all of these dollars, spent?
Obviously LOVE's earned, NEVER for sale!

I haven't written an 'Unanswered Knock of Love' for quite awhile.
Has anyone been knocking? Have you been knocking? Did anyone answer?
AFTER ALL, it's all about LOVE, isn't it?
I'm not talking about the commercialization of Valentine's Day...I'm talking about our finite lives.
So, do we prospect for LOVE, or , just , all of a sudden, find it before us?
The older I get, the more I wonder: 'what's it all about...what's it all for?'
Awhile back, I said on the show, ' everyone's thought about killing themselves at some point' . The response was, basically,
'maybe YOU have...but not ME' ....yet,
So, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40dxDSXsrL8" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">what's LOVE got to do with it? I do believe that LOVE fulfils LIFE. Be that a romantic LOVE,LOVE between humans/friends, or, the  LOVE from our 4 legged, furry, winged family members(from, where, I believe, the ONLY UNCONDITIONAL LOVE comes)
Not to say one cannot be terribly depressed when surrounded by LOVE...but, LOVE does light the darkness.
FaceBook suggested I share a photo from 3 years ago. The picture is of me petting Rhee au Rheet. In 30 October 2014, I needed to help Rheet out from his pain, knowing that mine would increase and never end. I know, to some who have never loved nor felt the love from an animal, that sounds very strange. To others, they too know the pain that I am writing about, here....but,
that is the price of LOVE. I sincerely believe that we feel emotional pain to the degree we LOVE.

So, who's 'better off'? Those who never love so they never feel the pain of loss?
Some of us, well, me, certainly, I don't feel that I have a choice. I've never felt that I made a 'choice' to love.

I read that http://www.nydailynews.com/life-style/53-women-dump-lover-valentine-day-gift-article-1.2114301" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">53% of women would end their relationships if they didn't receive something for Valentine's day.
It's difficult for me to believe that there was anything 'real' in a relationship that would be ended in the absence of a Valentine's day gift.
I've always felt that LOVE, giving and/or receiving is, itself is a gift. Will there be pain? The pain of loss, of course, but such is life...enjoy the ride...and,  if love comes knocking upon your heart...let it in!
