Heartland Christian 7, Badger 0

EAST PALESTINE

Nate Garzanich allowed three walks and struck out two in a three-hitter. Nicholas Centofanti allowed six hits and a walk, striking out six four innings in the loss. Hayden Stewart had a single and a double with three RBIs for the Lions (7-10). Aaron Gault had a single and a double. Devin Sirota had three singles. Tom Kling and Luke Rafferty each hit a single with an RBI. Jack Lendak had two singles for the Braves.

Field 7, West Branch 0

MOGADORE

Donavin Conrad allowed six runs on five hits and a walk in the loss. Jacob Gerring got the win for Field. He allowed four hits and a walk, striking out eight in a complete game. Conrad struck out two in three innings pitched. Nick Wilson went 2 for 3 for the Warriors (16-11). Caden Contant went 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored for the Falcons.

Salem 5, United 4

SALEM

Bryce Owen drove in the game-winning run on a bases-loaded walk. The Quakers (14-11) won for the fifth time in five days. Joey Watson pitched four scoreless innings of relief, striking out six for the win. Darius Beck had two RBIs for Salem.

Liberty 9, Lowellville 2

STRUTHERS

Dwight Parker struck out five in just two innings for Liberty (7-18). Zach Coman and two hits and five RBIs to lead the Leopards offense. Trevor Strohmeyer added two hits. Lowellville’s Vinnie Kacir had two RBis.

Hickory 16, Reynolds 1

GREENVILLE, PA.

Asher Patton and Kyle Morer combined for a no-hitter for the Hornets. Clay Wiesen had four hits for Hickory (11-2), including a homer and a double. Wiesend rove in two runs. Hayden Gallagher and Zach Lordo also homered for the Hornets. Gallagher had three hits and four RBIs.

Struthers 10, Southeast 0

STRUTHERS

Jared Laczko drove in three runs to lead Struthers. Billy Opritza and Morgan Sumption added two hits each for the Wildcats. Sumption drove in a run and Hunter Stellato had one RBI.

Edgewood 1, Crestview 0

ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP

Carter Blakeman struck out seven while giving up an unearned run while taking the loss for Crestview (13-9, 9-3). Dale McGoogan and Blakeman each had two hits. No stats were reported for Edgewood.

Alliance 10, Waterloo 0

ALLIANCE

The Aviators scored one run in the second and five in the third. Luke Simons and Gavin English who each had one hit for the Vikings. Alliance stats were not provided.

United 10, Columbiana 3

COLUMBIANA

Shane Black drove in two runs for United. Nick Rhodes added two hits. Hunter Zentner and Ryan Fahs had a hit each for Columbiana.

Poland 10, Newton Falls 2

POLAND

Brooke Bobbey scattered four hits and teammates Abby Farber, Ally Nittoli, Ashley Wire and Lauren Sienkiewicz each had two hits as the unbeaten Bulldogs (24-0, 14-0 Northeast 8) beat the Tigers (16-8). Jose Madison hit a two-run homer for Newton Falls.

Boardman 6, Bristol 0

BOARDMAN

Madison Lester struck out 10 in the win and also tripled. Lester allowed four hits and a walk. Alayna Sines took the loss, allowing nine hits and a walk. Lauren Maughan single, doubled and drove in three runs for the Spartans. Dana Haus doubled and Lester tripled. Kendyl Switzer had a single and a double for the Panthers.

Champion 2, North Canton Hoover 1

CHAMPION

Sophie Howell struck out 12 to lead Champion (23-2). Brooklynn Whitt had two hits for the Flashes, including a double. Faith Kiko homered for Hoover (18-6).

Crestview 7, Edgewood 5

ASHTABULA TOWNSHIP

Haley Eskra went 3 for 5 to become Crestview’s all-time leader in hits with 123. Jen Haroff had the previous record of 120, which she collected from 2002-5. Kaedyn Sutton got the win, her record-tying 15th, and struck out eight.

LaBrae 12, Brookfield 2

LEAVITTSBURG

Marissa Roberts had three RBIs on three hits, including two doubles, to lead LaBrae. Natalie Siler added three hits for two RBIs and Aryanna Hartman had two RBIs on two hits. Arianna Geordan struck out six and walked two. Bailey Drapola hit a home run for Brookfield.

East Palestine 3, Salem 2

SALEM

Kenzee Johnston and Morgan Rutledge had a hit each for East Palestine. Taylor Thorpe had 15 strikeouts for Salem. Thorpe also had two hits.
