CANFIELD
The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley has awarded grants totaling $5,000 to Angels for Animals on behalf of the Kennedy Family Fund and the Arnett Family Fund.
The funds will partially cover the cost of a digital X-ray machine to be used at the Canfield location. The Angel Wing will offer expanded medical hours and additional services for dogs and cats in the community.
Construction is underway, and medical services are expected to be available by fall.
Contributions for the project are still needed and may be mailed to Angels for Animals, 4750 state Rte. 165, Canfield, OH 44406.
