Elle Buffenbarger and Addy Jarvis combined to allow just three hits and six strikeouts, but the Youngstown State softball team dropped a 3-0 decision to UNC-Wilmington on Sunday.
The Seahawks collected all three hits and scored all three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Penguins (4-16) tallied four hits, one each by Lexi Zappitelli, Maddi Lusk, Grace Cea and Alex DeLeon.
The Penguins host Kent State in the home opener Wednesday at 3 p.m.
