Oscar Tshiebwe had a double-double of 25 points and 18 rebounds for Kennedy Catholic. Tshiebwe scored 10 of his 25 points in the third quarter. Maceo Austin had 18 points and Ike Herster added 11 point as the Golden Eagles advance to play Coatesville on Tuesday in the PIAA 6A state semifinals. Hayden Herster led Mount Lebanon with 18 points.

Sharon’s Ethan Porterfield scored 28 points as the Tigers pulled away in the third quarter and make the PIAA 3A state semifinals. Cameren Atallah had 18 points and Michael Callaway added 11. Brad Perrotte led Deer Lakes with 17 points. Sharon will face Lincoln Park on Tuesday.

Farrell missed a buzzer-beater to tie the game. Eric Hopson had 17 points in defeat for the Steelers, who shot 7 of 19 from the free-throw line. Luke Ruggery led Bishop Guilfoyle with 24 points.
