ThursDAY
Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, will offer drive-through spaghetti dinners from 3 to 6 p.m. The menu includes spaghetti featuring the church’s meat sauce, tossed salad, roll with butter and dessert. Cost is $8 per dinner (cash only) and proceeds assist with ministry expenses. Pull up to the back door for service. Call the church office at 330-533-3531 with questions.
VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.
FRIDAY
Al Asir Court 200 will host a fish fry from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Covenant Hall, 336 W. Wood St., Youngstown. Cost is $10. Menu includes fish, green beans, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, bread and dessert. To order in advance, call 330-720-7317 and 330-506-8182.
Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $2. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. by calling 330-792-1005.
SATURDAY
North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, North Lima, will host a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. An all-you-can-eat breakfast or brunch will be available for a donation. Menu includes eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade pastries, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. MONDAY
Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will serve baked chicken dinners from noon to 8 p.m. Dinners will include salad, green beans, fruit cobbler and a beverage. Cost is $10. Call 330-533-9801 for information.
TAKING ORDERS
St. George Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, is taking orders for its steak fry, which will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. July 20. Cost is $18 and menu will include a one pound porter house steak. To place an order, call Tim Komara at 330-519-9036. Reservations are due by July 15. Tickets will be sold in advance only.
