THURSDAY

Austintown Grace Lutheran Church, 162 S. Raccoon Road, will host a drive-through stuffed chicken breast dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Menu includes stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Cost is $7. Pepperoni rolls also will be available for $2 each. To reserve a dinner the day of the sale, call 330-792-5889 or email austintowngrace@gmail.com. Drive to the back of the church and the dinner will be delivered.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 12062 South Ave., North Lima, will sponsor a drive-through chicken dinner from 3 to 6 p.m. or until sold out. Meals are $7 and will feature stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and a brownie. Dinners may be reserved by calling 330-549-2588. Pull up to the door and the food will be delivered.

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter and coffee. Cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. in the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Dessert will be an additional $2. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. by calling 330-792-1005.

Youngstown Shrine Club, 1697 W. South Range Road, North Lima, will host its annual fish fry from 3 to 7 p.m. The dinner will include a beverage and dessert. Cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children (12 and under). Takeout meals will be available. No tickets are needed in advance.

SATURDAY

First Presbyterian Church, 3654 Main St., Mineral Ridge, will host an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children age 4 to 11 and free for anyone under 4. Extra sausage costs $1. This event is in conjunction with the Weathersfield Flag Festival.

Wayne Town Hall, at the corner of state Routes 322 and 193, Wayne Township, will be the site of a breakfast bonanza from 8 to 11 a.m. or until sold out. Menu consists of scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, pancakes, juice, coffee and more. Breakfast is sponsored by the First Congregational Church of Wayne Women’s Missionary group. Proceeds benefit missionaries. Donations only. All fathers can enter a free drawing to win a gift basket.

TAKING ORDERS

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, is taking orders for apple and cherry strudel. Cost is $10 each. Call 330-550-6628 to order. Pickup will take place from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Friday.

UPCOMING

Aut Mori Grotto, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown, will host its monthly pancake and sausage breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon June 22. Menu includes all-you-can eat pancakes (only), link sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage gravy and biscuits, coffee and juice. Cost is $6 per adult, $3 for children under 11 and children under 3 eat free. The Aut Mori Grotto is a nonprofit organization comprised of master masons that supports local charities such as Akron Children’s Hospital, Sojourner House, Cerebral Palsy and dental care for challenged children under 17 years of age. Brookdale Austintown, 1420 S. Canfield-Niles Road, Austintown, will host a fish fry event from noon to 7 p.m. June 21. Cost is $10, and reservations must be made before Friday. Lord of Life Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, will offer drive-through spaghetti dinners from 3 to 6 p.m. June 27. Menu includes spaghetti featuring the church’s meat sauce, tossed salad, roll and butter and dessert. Cost is $8 per dinner (cash only), and proceeds will benefit ministry expenses. North Lima Mennonite Church, 90 Mennonite Drive, North Lima, will host a breakfast buffet from 7 to 10 a.m. June 29. An all-you-can-eat breakfast or brunch will be available for a donation. Menu includes eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, potatoes, homemade pastries, sausage gravy and biscuits, peppers and mushrooms, coffee, orange juice and other beverages. St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oakhill Ave., Youngstown, will host “A Taste of St. Patrick’s” from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23 in the social hall. Delicacies prepared by local and renowned cooks will be showcased. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for the best food. Tickets for the event are $20 per person, $30 per couple, and a family discount for two adults and two children, $30. Tickets for additional family members are $2 for children under 12 and $10 for ages 12 and up. Only 150 tickets will be sold. Admission includes tasting tickets, beverage and bread. The event will also include a basket raffle and a 50-50 raffle. Children up to age 12 will have the opportunity to enjoy the Kids Corner with their own food and a variety of activities at the Needle’s Eye located across the street from the church. Parents can bring children to the Needle’s Eye before they go to the social hall. Four mothers will be supervising the children as they participate in several activities, including a scavenger hunt.
