What: Join the Trumbull County Master Gardener Volunteers to learn the proper way to clean the garden to prevent disease issues next year.

What: Join us for a tale of birds, plants and conservation with Jim McCormac, retired botanist with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. He is sure to leave you intrigued and wanting to learn more about caterpillars.

BIRDS OF PREY

MASTER GARDENER TRAINING

When: February, March, April, May 2020

What: Become an OSU Extension master gardener volunteer. The program provides training in horticulture to residents who then volunteer their time assisting with educational programs and activities in Mahoning County. Volunteers are not required to have gardening skills or knowledge.

VOLUNTEER NATURALIST TRAINING

When: January, February, March & April 2020

What: Become an Ohio certified volunteer naturalist. Certified volunteers can volunteer at any park or nature center in their home area. Nearly 50 hours of training includes stewardship, nature interpretation, forestry, mammals and much more.
