Aug. 1

Drugs: Authorities conducting a traffic stop on West Main Street charged Kevin Seppi, no age listed, of Cleveland, with drug abuse (marijuana) and possessing drug paraphernalia.

Summons: Officers pulled over Ashley House, 31, of West Pershing Street, Salem, on East Main Street and wrote a summons charging her with driving under suspension.

Aug. 2

Drugs: Ian Lowe, 38, of Hillman Street, Youngstown, was handed a summons charging him with drug abuse (marijuana) and possessing drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Herbert Road.

Arrest: A traffic stop on North Broad Street resulted in the arrest of Curtis Peeples, 39, of Washington Street, Leetonia, on a warrant charging failure to appear in Sebring Area Court. Also, Alice Bivens, 42, of state Route 45, Salem, was issued a summons charging driving under suspension.

Summons: Kylon Bills, 37, of Camden Avenue, Youngstown, was charged with driving under suspension after having been stopped on U.S. Route 224.

Citation: Police wrote a minor-misdemeanor citation charging Carolyn Shaffer, 58, of Talsman Drive, Canfield, with traveling 43 mph on Montgomery Drive, which has a 25-mph speed limit.

Aug.3

Summons: Officers conducting a traffic stop on West Main Street wrote a summons charging Duane Rock, 49, of Atlantic Street Northeast, Warren, with driving after failing to reinstate his driving status.

Summons: George Landsberger, no age given, of Waterford Road, East Palestine, received a summons charging him with driving under suspension after having been pulled over on Lisbon Road.

Aug. 4

Summons: Police on Lisbon Road stopped and issued a summons to Leroy Thomas, 60, of Park Avenue, Salem, charging him with driving under an administrative suspension.

Drugs: After authorities pulled her over on West Main Street, they charged Mehlyn Clinkscale, 18, of Lockwood Boulevard, Boardman, with underage possession and consumption of alcohol, as well as drug abuse (marijuana) and possessing drug paraphernalia. In addition, police charged a 17-year-old Alliance boy with drug abuse (marijuana) and made a referral to the Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center in Youngstown.
