YOUNGSTOWN

Country music star Brett Eldredge will return to Youngstown on Friday, to headline a concert at the new Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre.

Eldredge is no stranger to Northeast Ohio, and Friday’s concert will be his fourth Youngstown stop in a five-year span.

A heavy-hitter on country radio, Eldredge posted his seventh Platinum song earlier this year with “The Long Way” and followed it with his seventh country music chart-topper, “Love Someone.”

The Illinois native released his Christmas record, “Glow,” in 2016 and earned an additional No. 1 song on the Holiday Music and Adult Contemporary charts with “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” a duet with Meghan Trainor. The deluxe edition, featuring five new tracks, was released in October.

Opening for Eldredge will be Styles Haury, a native of Medina, Ohio.

It’s a big moment for Haury, who is excited to play a big show in his own neck of the woods. He has been touring the country on his own while honing his onstage performance.

“We couldn’t be more excited to get to show off how hard we’ve all been working on the songs and the live show,” Styles said. “To get to play a show of this magnitude in our home state is going to be fantastic and we can’t wait to play for a new audience and get the crowd fired up to see Brett’s show.”
