TourismOhio has launched its 2018 Holidays In Ohio web page at ohio.org, featuring a new, statewide Holiday Lights Trail that showcases 30 distinctive light displays.

From Lights Before Christmas at the Toledo Zoo to Kings Island’s Winterfest in Mason, the trail brings the sparkle of millions of twinkling lights and music to visitors.

Travelers can browse the Holiday Lights Trail online or download and print a map to take along in the car. The trail highlights are broken down by region.

“The holidays are a popular time to visit Ohio, and millions of dazzling lights are a big part of the attraction,” said Matt MacLaren, director of TourismOhio. “The Holiday Lights Trail and Holidays in Ohio web pages are both designed to help Ohioans and visitors make new memories while experiencing Ohio’s seasonal attractions.”

Ohio receives an average of 20 million visits in November and December, many from people visiting for the holidays.

To help Ohioans and visitors alike plan time with family and friends this holiday season, TourismOhio has assembled an array of inspirational experiences that are detailed on the website. They include:
