‘A Christmas Story’
The Oakland Center for the Arts youth theater will present the Mahoning Valley premiere of “A Christmas Story, the Musical” this weekend and next at Trinity Fellowship Church, 4769 South Ave., Boardman. Tickets are $10 ($5 for students; free for children 4 and under); call 330-406-0606. The stage show is based on the classic 1983 movie about Ralphie Parker, a young boy who wants a BB gun for Christmas. Pictured is Jake Platt, who plays Ralphie. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and again Dec. 7 and 8; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and Dec. 9.
