GIRARD — There was a community send-off for the Girard High School football team today. The community lined the streets from the southern corner of Wilson Avenue and U.S. Route 422 to Interstate 80.
The Girard Indians (12-1) will compete against Newark Licking Valley (10-3) for the Division IV state semifinal Saturday.
