Bob Barko Jr. will unveil “Lanterman’s Mill,” his latest stylized drawing, at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lanterman’s Mill covered bridge, 1001 Canfield Road, in Mill Creek Park.

The Youngstown-based fine graphic artist said he is pleased with the piece and can’t wait to show it to the public.

After the unveiling, Barko and his Steel Town Studio will remain on the site for the Olde Fashioned Christmas at the Mill holiday show and sale, which runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Barko will sell limited edition prints of “Lanterman’s Mill” for $20, and artist’s proofs for $50, at his booth at the event.

The original illustration – matted, framed, signed and numbered as No. 1 of 1 – will be available for purchase for $2,000.

The color pencil and ink computer-enhanced illustration, which took more than 40 hours to complete, is based on photos taken by the artist. Designed as a full-color 16-inch by 20-inch artwork printed on white gloss cover stock, the drawing depicts both the familiar exterior and the inner workings of iconic Youngstown structure.
