Struthers Middle School to donate socks

Struthers

Struthers Middle School will donate 2,300 new pairs of socks to Beatitude House and Dorothy Day House of Youngstown.

The socks were collected during Struthers Middle School’s Socktober. The socks collected will help the homeless community.

This is the third consecutive year the school has participated in Socktober. Amber Bonilla and her Resource Room students hosted the sock drive with the help of each homeroom class.

Representatives from Beatitude House and Dorothy Day House of Youngstown will be at the school at 1:30 p.m. today to accept the donation.
