Boardman Elementary schools hosted the annual Halloween parades.

Amy Radinovic, Boardman’s communication coordinator, said that the parade is a long standing tradition that the school looks forward to every year.

“All of the students and teachers love dressing up every year,” Radinovic said.

Each elementary school hosted their own parade, where students walked through the parking lot to show off their costumes.

Community members gathered around the edges of the parking lots to take photos and watch as students and staff walked past.

“We get large turn outs at these events, the families always enjoys coming out to see the costumes,” Radinovic said.

Costumes varied from classic witches and princesses, to video game characters and emoji’s.

Many of the teachers dressed in group costumes as well, including one group from Stadium Drive Elementary school who dressed as beanie babies.

“Its a great way to get into the holiday,” Radinovic said.
