Athletic department hosts fall parent meeting
The Poland High School athletic department has announced a fall sports parent meeting for June 4 at 6 p.m. in the high school auditorium. The meeting is mandatory for parents whose son or daughter will be participating in a middle school sport or high school fall sport. All parents should plan on attending, as they will be discussing policies and procedures for the upcoming fall season. The athletes do not need to attend this meeting.
Mooney golf team hosts fundraising scramble
On June 9, there will be a Cardinal Mooney golf team fundraiser scramble at the Mill Creek Golf Course. Check-in starts at 12 p.m. for a 1 p.m. shot-gun start. The cost to participate is $75 per person or $300 per team. The cost includes lunch and dinner. Hole sponsorships are available for $50 per hole and 50/50 and raffle baskets will be available.

The sports news we’re looking for ranges from varsity high school teams down to middle school and even elementary and recreational leagues. We look forward to hearing about your teams successes.
