BOARDMAN — A Boardman man’s reckless driving earned him a charge of drug trafficking.
Officers pulled over Troy Blackmon, 24, of Arlene Avenue on Saturday after he nearly hit an officer on Erie Street, according to a report.
During the stop officers reported that Blackmon appeared nervous and began shaking. An officer who responded told the arresting officer Blackmon was associated with a criminal gang known for drug activity.
A search of Blackmon’s car turned up three bags of marijuana, four marijuana cigars, and three cell phones, two of which Blackmon denied having knowledge of, the report said.
He faces a felony drug trafficking charge.
