Seham Halaweh of Boardman and Michael and Suzanne Hritz of Salem are announcing the engagement of their children, Tamara Halaweh and Christopher Hritz, both of Columbus.
The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Husam Halaweh.
The couple’s wedding will take place June 23 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Columbus. A reception will follow at the Ohio Statehouse. Invitations will be issued for both events.
The couple both graduated from Youngstown State University and earned doctor of medicine degrees from Northeast Ohio Medical University.
The future bride is an emergency-medicine physician at Mid-Ohio Emergency Services in Columbus.
Her fiance is a palliative-medicine physician at Ohio State University in Columbus.
