COLUMBIANA
Jay and Margie Stanwood of Columbiana are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Katie Stanwood of Columbiana, to Neil Allen of Boardman. Don and Dacia Allen of Hilton Head, S.C., are the parents of the prospective groom.
The couple will marry during a ceremony set for June 23 at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ in North Lima. A reception will take place that evening at the Maronite Center in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for both events.
The bride-elect graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work and is pursuing a master’s degree in that field at YSU.
Mr. Allen graduated from New Castle School of Trades with a degree in electrical technology. He is an electrician at Winkle Electric Co. Inc. in Youngstown.
