Buckeye Travelers, Mahoning Valley Chapter of Gold Wing Road Riders Association, will meet Saturday for dinner at 5 p.m. and a gathering at 6 at Dino’s Restaurant, 10941 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson. All motorcycle riders and makes of motorcycles are welcome.
Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA will meet Aug. 14 at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Networking will take place at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:30. First Friday Club of Greater Youngstown Luncheon Speaker Series will feature the Rev. Edward Brienz at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at The Georgetown in Boardman. Brienz is director of Missions/Propagation of the Faith for the Diocese of Youngstown, administrator of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in McDonald and founder of Caf Augustine located in the Newport Library. There will be a presentation on dental health by Rudy Braydich, local dentist. Inspirational speaker is Suzanne Updike, and the topic is "Free Gifts."
