Alexa Diana and Mark Mellott, both of Youngstown, are engaged and plan to be married at 2 p.m. Aug. 18 at Saint Joseph Church in Austintown.
A reception will take place that evening at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman. Invitations will be extended for both events.
The bride-elect’s parents are Patrick and Debbie Diana of Austintown. Lee and Joyce Mellott of Cortland are the parents of the prospective groom.
Miss Diana is studying at Penn State Shenango to become a physical therapist assistant.
Mr. Mellott graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in public health and is pursuing a master’s degree in healthcare administration at Seton Hall University. He is an oncology outreach liaison with Mercy Health in Youngstown.
