NEW MIDDLETOWN
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Simone of New Middletown were honored July 7 at a picnic at the home of their son, Paul T. Simone Jr., also of New Middletown, on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary.
Also hosting the celebration were the couple’s other children, Frank L. Simone and Christine J. Simone, both of New Middletown, and David A. Simone of Kimberling City, Mo.
One grandson, Frank D. Simone, completes their family.
Mr. Simone and the former Shirley Millhorn were married July 5, 1958, at St. Anthony Church in Steubenville.
Mrs. Simone worked as a market researcher before retiring in 2010.
Her husband retired in 1996 from his position as a teacher with the Mohawk Area School District in Bessemer, Pa.
They are members of Holy Family Church in Poland.
