Austintown Bounce had their Lunch with Santa Christmas party on Dec. 16.
Co-owner Bruce Shepas invited Santa and Mrs. Claus to Austintown Bounce. He and his crew also organized holiday themed games for the children.
The $7 price of admission included a free hot dog, fountain drink and snow globe. The party ran from from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The children had access to all the games in the building, as well as the four bounce areas during the event.
The party included Gloria Siegfried of The Laughing Ladybug, who made balloon animals. The Laughing Ladybug helps support Siegfried’s daughter’s fight against cancer. She met with Shepas and he invited her to bring her balloon creations to the Christmas party.
Children could take a picture with Santa in the area usually designated for adults to relax. The area, which normally has sofas and massage chairs, had decorations for a photo with Santa.
The holiday theme continued in the games the staff set up for the children. For example, they had a game where children tossed balls into a hole in a snowman cut out. They children received tickets for getting the balls in the hole. Shepas also played Christmas music over the speakers in the building.
Shepas works with his business partner, Harold Porter, to have holiday themed events like these at Austintown Bounce.
